Illusion Magic: ma

Illusion Magic specializes in altering how others perceive the world, and contains a wide variety of Utility effects which allow for misdirection, search and concealment, and psychological warfare. Illusion damage is temporary, and rapidly regenerates until the target is struck by a different damage type.

Spriggans have a natural affinity with Illusion Magic, and receive the following benefits:

• +25% base Illusion Resistance
• +10% rate of skill gain with Illusion Magic
• -1 to minimum Magnitudes for Illusion Magic spell effects

While this spell is in effect, the affected player cannot cast spells or use weapon techniques. Physical attacks deal the target's normal weapon damage.

For PvP kills, improves the chances of receiving items from the defeated player. Has no effect on which player receives random drops from a shared victory.

    • Requires one free hand. Causes objects of value to appear in the target's HUD as a glowing outline. The color and intensity of the outline indicates the type and relative value of the objects, respectively. If an object is on the person of another player (but not within their inventory) or within a closed container, the containing object or entity will be highlighted instead.
